Marlene rocks! Houko Kuwashima voices her in the japanese version (Tomoyo Sakagami, Claire). The anime was really good, and I'm really disappointed that its not available for others to see it. A really epic sci fi series that should deserve to be watched

The movie basically summarizes the first part of the series, and it cuts alot of stuff out. I remember watching it a while back, and I thought it wasnt worth it. Watch the series, it's far more better.

FPS's arent as scary.
Silent Hill series makes you piss in your pants everytime you play
Fatal Frame series was also a damn scary game (and a good one).
Resident evil 1-3 was really good as well, also love the remakes, just not AS scary as SH and FF.
And yes, re4 is not scary AT ALL, its like, not traditional RE anymore

Also want to try Siren and Siren 2, but haven't been able to get a chance to get it. Heard is was real freaky

There are ALOT of reasons why seed is much more better than destiny, and they're probably listed all throughout the posts already, so I'm not even gonna bother listing them all, even though they're really strong.

There are SOME aspects of destiny that probably make it somewhat memorable, like....the new hisashi hirai characters and designs , and some of the music, and alittle bit of the elements in seed destiny. so i guess, how the series started out with shinn and athrun; it was a good start, but, it seriously didn't last long, like, probably up until freedom's appearance, so around the first 12 eps. Meer was stupid, regurgitating seed elements like the ripoff weapon of genesis, the crappy stupid ending that just DID NOT do ANY justice, to ANYTHING! and i would go on and on.

all in all, seed is seriously better with the overall impact. Story, scenario, music, and a whole bunch of other great things that make it a great all-around series. I would seriously not recommend anyone who dearly loved seed to watch destiny.

I think it would be Wing 0 Custom. It has the 0 system, which communicates you mind (In a GOOD way, otherwise, i would've chosen Eva unit 1 but.......god... I don't think I would need to explain). If that doesn't count, then The Cordal in FMP (btw:the one with the hair), its really cool

Heat Guy J, the ending wasn't that bad, but it seemed to me that it wasn't good as the overall series, more should have happened, and it should have been more catastrophic as it was going.
btw: FMA ending isn't as bad as everyone says, and the movie helped made it better.
Chrno Crusade, i would change it, rosette shouldn't have died.

Damn, I puke so much at the english, its really crappy, the japanese is way better. Theres just countless flaws to the english dubbed. Why the hell can't america just settle with Japanese audio and subs?

I like this anime, its good. The ending is alittle gay though, maybe it should have been kept at ep 24

Im not sure If i should skip out this year's, last years they had alot of wannabes and newcomers that only seen and adore engligh dubs and dont know the real style and art of anime (Japanese anime! instead of them labelling x-men as anime, that pissed me off and I'm desperate to go live in japan).
Americans need a lesson if they're planning on being otakus in my opinion, and thats to respect the style, art and the actual anime, and know that anime is done by the japanese, NOT americans.

My all time fav is Devil May Cry, it rocks! Not just the first, all three of them.
I also love rpgs like the final fantasy series(cant beat final fantasy, all from I to X-2!), star ocean, grandia, wild arms, XenoGears, Legend of Dragoon, XenoSaga.
there are more games, like Metal Gear solid, super smash bros. Megaman(yes the blue bomber also rocked), guilty gear XX, resident evil 1-3(havent played 4 yet) and i could go on and on.

Well, to the topic.. It's about submitting doujinshis on the doujinshis gallery section, I've been looking at all the gallery posts for a very long time (and they were all very good!), and I always wanted to submit some of the Anime Artwork I've done for some time.

I've got a new scanner since May 2005, but I've never submitted anything from that time. Well.. here goes...
Im too afraid that my work will be spreaded all over the internet and my characters being used by different artists and photoshop users, they would alter the pictures, or re draw them and claim it as their own, and use it for all kinds of things, posting it on different sites, making hentai out of them, or worse.
I'm sorry this is such a stupid question, but i just want to know:
Is there a way to post a doujinshi gallery image, let users view the whole image but not letting them able to save it
I'm just really concerned about having my drawings and characters shown online for others to do anything to it and stick it up again.Im also sorry if i had offended anyone posting this

I'd say a 10 out of 10, because i really love anime. Well, we also have to pay attention to ordinary life (which sucks), so we're forced to be aware of both (which also sucks) but I really love anime, and would even take time to finish an episode, or read a manga, or even looking at some pictures, even if it risks me taking time out of school. I also like J-music so hope that doesn't bother it too much

I would be Kazuma, I love the Shell Bullet and he can blast through anything and make giant leaps using his arm. Plus, he's lazy when it comes to work, like me ^^

Wow, this thread's getting popular. I don't mind hentai really, sometimes I would watch it once in a while. But bringing it to Minitokyo would be pretty degrading to the site itself. Minitokyo is an anime art community, I think ecchi is enough for the site, and there are younger people who view sites like these. Adding a hentai section wouldn't work out for users and webmasters either. Ecchi is satisfying enough, as a matter of fact, I prefer it more than hentai, I love ecchi and it seems more better than a hentai section.
So, I dont think a hentai section should be made, as for its disadvantages that are mentioned in this thread.
(btw this ain't a porno site!)

This IS a very broad topic, and i must say, there are alot of genres mentioned in this thread. I love alot of anime, i've watched many different kinds, mostly recently mecha now, because it deals with war, life or death, tragety, action, romance, and a couple more.
Well, I would definately look at the character designs and the artwork of the anime, I always look for techniques used, and the character designs, if they are good in my opinion. Then I look for story, if there's an anime with no good story (even though I haven't seen one yet that comes to mind), then i would just look at the first episode and look for any other traits, and forget it. Then there's action , adventure, comedy, the stuff most of the members mentioned in this thread, they're also important to me. I would also look for Anime girls, lol, cant have a series without at least one cute one ^_^
i wanted to make my own anime about demons and devils, the kind you see from something like Devil May Cry, and Angels and god, it might sound weird at first, but I've had this kind of series in mind since gr.6, and im still trying to develop the story. I love drawing my characters and im trying to improve on my skills, even though i've been doing it for a long time, i wish i could show you guys to get your opinions.
I also wouldn't mind creating a military and mech anime, this type of anime seems to include alot of elements a good anime needs to be interesting.

I like s-CRY-ed, it was pretty good, the ending might use some work, but i liked it. The manga wasn't very appealing at first but it is pretty different from the anime.
Everyone does have different tastes. s-CRY-ed might be hard to understand at first, but its pretty cool.
My favourite character is Kazuma the Shell Bullet, he's pretty cool and i love the shell bullet.

What I search for in an anime is animation, story, funny stuff, things that say that "this is anime", music, action, violence, and last but not least, Anime girls. That seems to be it.

The worst subject I ever have is French, its really gay, and the french teacher I have is a real pain. I wish i could exchange it for learning japanese instead but my school is so gay.
